At the invitation of the school board of directors, executive Fabio Mello prepared a lecture on the Olympic Games. The talk covered a brief history of the Games, which began in ancient times. Following that, Fabio shared some of his experiences as a professional athlete and agent, leading to the main topic: the preparation of professional athletes for the Olympics and how the world of football and the routine of athletes have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, exemplifying at the end with real-life cases of FMS athletes involved in the competition.

Towards the end, he explained the company’s operations, the athletes managed, the internal processes used at FMS, and presented real-life cases to illustrate the stages of the athlete recommendation process to a club.

At the invitation of the Sports Management League of FGV, Fabio participated in the Sports Management Week promoted by the student organization. During the lecture, Fabio discussed details of his career as an athlete and the transition he made to work off the field as an agent. He talked about his academic preparation. He also elaborated on the roles of an agent and how this profession is remunerated. Finally, he explained the company’s operations and concluded by presenting the real-life case of the full-back Mayke.
